The Garden is Being Used!

Hi Everyone,

So I just wanted to let everyone know that today Nightwatch had a BBQ in the garden. It was great and at least a dozen tenants came down to eat and hangout for a few hours. It was so cool to see everyone come together, relax and hangout. Thanks to everyone who helped!  read more »

Thanks Guys

Thanks Everyone! That was great tonight...I'm really excited now for Sunday to see it all come together. It was also cool to see that some of the guys in the building came out to help. My prayer for this project has just been that this little garden will help bring more community in the building and its already doing that :) So yah! Well see everyone on Sunday hopefully and even some of you tommorrow night. Thank you thank you thank you. Goodnight.

Tough Night at Nightwatch

So I think it is ok for me to just blog about random stuff on here... I was driving to work tonight not really wanting to go. It was hot, I was tired and I just wasn't really in the right mindset to work down at the dispatch center tonight. As I'm driving, I decide that I'm just going to be honest with God and tell him that I just don't feel like doing this. If He wants anything to happen it is going to have to be Him (which is 100 times better anyways). So I show up, put on my little name tag and the clients start coming in.  read more »

Almost Pictures

So...I just tried to attach some pictures of the lot next to Nightwatch that we could put a little garden/patio but the file size was too big (so i'll post them tomorrow with Guidos help). I got the go ahead from my manger and she thinks that it could be great. I talked with the housing manager (who works with all of the tenants on a daily basis) and she thinks that the senior tenants could really use an area like that and would probably really appreciate it. Her advice was to make it pretty simple at first and see how much people actually use it.  read more »

I figured it out :)

Sorry that it has taken me so long to post! (this is Robin by the way) I was having trouble figuring out how to acutally create a blog entry but just realized that my problem was not being signed in to begin with. Oops!

I have taken pictures of the lot next to the Nightwatch building and I will post them tonight. Guido also got to take a look at the lot and thinks that, "it could be really cool." haha So I will get them uploaded tonight and write more details. I'm excited about this potential project.  read more »
